can anyone help with this? I'm still trying to get this form to work.
it won't work at all without a <form ...> tag in there... there are a whole bunch of cgi form-email scripts around that will handle the form, but without that, there's not an awful lot i can do to help.
do you know how to make cgi scripts work? exactly what kind of difficulties are you having?
This cgi script was provided by LunarPages. I followed all the instructions, but when you hit the submit button on the form, it errors with missing info even if you've filled all the boxes. I have .pl file which they told me how to configure the coding, but I must have done something wrong.
I'm so frustrated with this especially since I have offered to pay people to solved this problem for me, and NADA!
hmm... can you post the aspenleaf.pl somewhere where i can see it? the form itself seems like it's okay, but i can't tell without the .pl file that processes it...
just sent you a message through LJ. thanks for your help; I've been feeling so stupid, and I know that I'm NOT!
not surprisingly, i don't have a clue... is it possible for you to post the README file that comes along with it?
it's strange that it would give the error it did... is it possible that you recapitalised the variables on the form itself?
where can I send you all the info I have? and thanks for much for your help. I haven't been able to get any help on this.
just so you know, there's a better-than-average possibility that i won't be able to help you with this cgi-script either, but i have set up a number of forms that take information and process them into email, so if i can't help you with this specific form, i would be able to help you accomplish the same thing with a different cgi-script...
you can send stuff to salamandir at spamcop dot net
